Church
Churches were peoples main social life in the 1920's. The church was everyone main social gathering and the women especially looked forward getting out of the house and going to church to gossip.The Church held most events, had a lot of power, and influence. On Sunday there would be 2 services and during the week there were even more events such as:

The children and youth put on a lot of plays, mostly during the winter. The girls decorated boxes that would be auctioned and bid upon by their Favourite young man. They money raised went toward the church or if not a church program the youth would use it to buy musical equipment.
